巴基斯坦西南部俾路支省首府奎達（Quetta），周日（24日）發生嚴重恐怖攻擊，一列載有巴基斯坦軍人及其家屬的Jaffer Express接駁列車在查曼帕塔克（Chaman Phatak）附近遭汽車炸彈自殺攻擊，造成至少30人死亡、超過70人受傷。死傷者多為準備返鄉慶祝開齋節的軍方人員。

綜合法新社與美國《有線電視新聞網》（CNN）報導，爆炸發生在列車行經鐵軌旁時，一輛裝滿炸藥的汽車直接衝撞車廂，導致車廂嚴重毀損翻覆，附近民宅與車輛也遭波及損毀。爆炸威力強大，現場濃煙滾滾，救援人員仍在全力搜救。
當地分離主義組織俾路支解放軍（BLA，Baloch Liberation Army）已透過聲明宣稱對此次「費代伊」（Fidayee，自殺式攻擊）負責，並明確表示攻擊目標是從奎達軍營搭乘火車的巴基斯坦軍方人員。目前巴基斯坦安全部隊已封鎖事發區域，全力展開救援與調查行動。

奎達所有政府醫院已宣布進入緊急狀態，醫護人員緊急動員。巴基斯坦內政部長發言人巴伯·優素福扎伊呼籲民眾勿靠近爆炸現場，以免妨礙救援工作。

此次攻擊發生在「中巴經濟走廊」（CPEC）重要區域。俾路支省雖然擁有豐富天然氣與礦產資源，卻長期因開發利益分配不均，與巴基斯坦中央政府存在嚴重矛盾，導致俾路支解放軍等分離主義武裝組織活動頻繁。近年來，該組織曾多次針對巴基斯坦軍警、中方人員與基礎設施發動攻擊。
